Endothelial progenitor cells in umbilical cord-derived mezenhimosferoids and their participation in the processes of angiogenesis and vasculogenesis in acute liver failure
Abstract
Our results show that vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) induces the appearance of endothelial progenitor cells (EPC) in spheroids of human umbilical cord-derived multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells (HUC-MMSC). EPC may taking part in the regeneration of blood vessels damaged organ. 1 month after xenogeneic transplantation spheroids observed in corporation of individual human Flk-1+ cells in the blood vessels of the recipient. We look forward to further experiments to find the optimal treatment conditions spheroids on liver regeneration through angiogenesis.
