Abstract
Ischemic damage to the prefrontal cortex is accompanied by early and progressive decrease in the succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) activity of the mitochondria of the perifocal area. The daily fractional administration of a synthetic analogue of the ACTH4-10 fragment — Semax at a dose of 25 µg / kg is accompanied by normalization of the activity of SDH 24 hours after photothrombosis of the cortex. The study showed that the determination of the activity of SDH is an informative method to assess the severity of ischemic brain damage and the effectiveness of neuroprotective therapy.Downloads
